The wind up is beginning for the Kickstarter Launch

Well as you can see from my last update the prototypes have arrived and they look fantastic. We had to make a couple changes once we received the prototypes however they were fairly minor and everything is good to go. We completed filming our Kickstarter video and are putting the finishing touches on the campaign materials. While we are busy editing the video and touching up the Kickstarter content we are also having some playtest and in depth reviews done so that we can have some independent opinions all ready for when we launch the campaign. The video was too much fun to film and I think everyone will be amused by our approach and execution. I can't wait to showcase it but I am going to try to keep it under wraps until the Kickstart launch.

Just a quick update:

WESTERLY IS ALMOST HERE!
We have finished all the art and content. The prototypes are on order and review play testing will begin in approx. 2 weeks depending on when the prototypes can ship. Stay tuned for further info, photos, video and information on when our kickstarter project will launch.

The Cover Is In! Woot!

I probably should wait till it gets all dressed up and make all the final tweeks but I could not resist throwing a packshot up for everyone to check out. We are in our final development weekend and will be ordering playtest prototypes this weekend. Let us know what you think about the cover. I will post more info after the weekend. It's crunchtime for us and I may not sleep at all this weekend but this magnificent beast will go to print next week. Make sure to click on the picture it looks even better "all blowed up"!

Weekly update. Here is a small selection of art from our encounter cards. There are over 120 unique encounter cards. And they are on track for completion at the end of this week. I figured I would post up some art from the cards to give you an idea of the flavor of the game.

Westerly Update!!!

Westerly is progressing nicely. We have just received our first production quality prototype to play test and we just need to make some final tweaks to the game mechanic to ensure proper balance. The major component we are hard at work on right now is the illustrations for all the encounter cards. There are over 120 unique encounter cards in the game and each one has its own original illustration. A huge undertaking for our two fantastic illustrators in a short time frame. We should have all the art ready to go by our next play test date July 27th. I will post up some of the artwork so you can get a sense of what the game components will look like. I will also put up some pictures this weekend of all the components that arrived in the box.
